Our client a web based leading housing intelligence business offers rigorous and highly accurate AVM to the Australian mortgage and finance industry.

Reporting to the CEO, you would co-ordinate the development and release of the Australian AVM, developing strategies to assist our clients with the AVM, and providing insightful housing market intelligence.

What we are looking for?

Someone who has a strong development background and is looking for an opportunity to take on more responsibility within a small but high-powered, fast moving team.

Experience:

• Development 5+ years (SQL mandatory, ColdFusion/Java highly desirable)
• Significant exposure to release / change management co-ordination
• Hands-on server / network / firewall maintenance and configuration experience a must

Specific Responsibilities include:
Release Co-ordination / Project Management

• Ensures clear, agreed and realistic resourcing and schedule for each release with plans established, checkpoints agreed and then tracked to
• Ensure all items for release are prioritised and resourced
• Ensures no cross dependency between model, data and front end changes
• Co-ordinates all testing throughout the cycle
• Ensures clear rollback plan in place
• Manages any client UAT needs
• Works with Aus business to develop internal and external release notes co-ordinating with client technical leads as required
• Responsible for overall quality of front end changes and for releasing into test and live
• Liaises with parent company team (UK-based) to co-ordinate common change requests

Infrastructure management

• Client delivery within agreed SLAs
• Design and maintenance of all live, staging and development environments
• Business continuity plans documented and tested
• Application / Information security maintained
• Vendor manager for all providers of technology

Hands-on development

• Ad hoc coding as and when required (SQL and ColdFusion/Java)
• Code / peer reviews with technical team

Stakeholders

• Ensure integration and co-ordination with technology
• Work closely with the CEO (Aus) & CTO (UK) to agree priorities
• Clients – build strong relationships and manage all client specific technical implementations
• Internal stakeholder management / support - Sales & Modelling teams
