Over the last four years I have been working on different digital and social media platforms - in 2007 with the Sydney Festival launching their MySpace and successful blog which allowed the festival to tap into a new Gen Y audience in line with the festivals new creative direction. Similarly with the Sydney Opera House, the Studio wanted to pin point their fringe loving audience in Sydney and with their MySpace we were able to not only raise the profile of their program but also develop new promotional initiatives which encouraged a new level of patron interaction with the Sydney Opera House. Ogilvy gave me my first meaty bite into strategy, compiling and researching a global trends report for the Myer senior management team cantered around how age can effect consumers purchase decisions and how other retail operations are doing this internationally. Naked... this is where I really learnt to use my brain.
