About me:- Computer programmer since a kid, and I'm 37 now. Have always loved well designed & built websites, games, movies, songs etc and am ever keen to be involved in the creation of quality content.

Career objectives:- Consistently making well regarded chunks of electronic media. Challenging self with new projects. Keep gaining experience, knowledge, ideas and feed them back into the system. Excelling in production, advisory and management capacities.

Prior or Current experience:- Grew up in SA, studied Computer Science at Adelaide Uni. Arrived Sydney in '96. Working in multimedia since then, mostly with agencies. Web sites, web ads (including OTP), desktop widgets, screensavers, CD-ROMS, touchscreens, outdoor displays. Great breadth of project formats, sizes, budgets, teams etc. A little server-side experience: databases, scripting etc but not so much these days.

Your ideal job:- Work in a comfy space with a happy, talented, motivated team. Amiable and mutually respectful relationships with clients. Lots of interesting & fun jobs.

Carousel

• Part of a widget that enables the user to select an avatar.
• Randomly selects a gender and brings either 6 boys or 8 girls onto the stage.
• Shows a tricky method for updating multiple filters whenever the 'angle' of each avatar changes.

Weather

• A random weather pattern is selected and the user is able to change the weather using the slider controls.
• This is a short, basic routine coupled with a tight enterframe loop to generate some interesting animation.

• This is a hypnotic screensaver for the movie 'The Last Mimzy'.
• A selection from 7 stills is used to form the wedge which is repeated 10 or 12 times to form the template. Then, every second or so, one of 8 various motion properties is given a random acceleration value.
